3rd Year PhD Student
Areas of Specialization:

19th and 20th Century European Philosophy, Social and Political Philosophy

Research:

Having originally chosen to pursue a PhD in political science, I tend to focus on topics in social and political philosophy and ethics within the historical period indicated. I’m particularly interested in questions concerning community, history, and tradition in Heidegger and Gadamer. Furthermore, I retain an interest in contemporary political philosophy and ethics, and aspire to at least a rudimentary understanding of what has been going on outside of value theory in analytic philosophy over the past century.
