Before coming to Columbia, I was an undergraduate student at Cornell University, graduating in 2018 with an honors BA in Philosophy and Psychology. My honors thesis in Philosophy compared the skepticism in Sextus Empiricus' Outlines of Pyrrhonism and Nagarjuna's Mulamadhyamakakarika. I am particularly interested in doing more legal philosophy, metaethics and ancient philosophy, but overall I see the Masters as a chance to explore topics in philosophy that I did not get to explore in depth in my undergraduate such as personal identity, political philosophy, epistemology etc.
