My main interests are in ancient philosophy and Chinese philosophy. I am interested in questions related to harmony and measure in both Greek and Chinese ethics, aesthetics, and cosmology.

During my undergraduate education, I focused on ethics and moral philosophy, led the Critical Theory Workshop, and studied in Frankfurt. My senior thesis was a comparison of the naturalism of Aristotle and Confucius. In my hometown, Beijing, I took courses on Neo-Confucianism, Chinese Classics Exegesis, and Chinese Etymology.
