My interest lies in the intersection between continental philosophy (especially phenomenology) and psychoanalysis, with a particular focus on topics of consciousness, ego, being, and otherness. My research at Nanjing University (China, where I got my BA) analyzed the synthesizing Husserlian unconscious and the repressed Freudian unconscious, the constituting primal ego and the vulnerable repressed ego, as well as their revelation of a new metaphysical possibility of modern rationality. Besides, I did my graduation thesis about Merleau-Ponty’s tacit cogito lurking in the pre-predicate horizon and how does he penetrated the Husserlian absolute being. I am also interested in philosophy of mathematics and critical theory.
