4th Year Graduate Student | Ph.D. program in Philosophy

The big-picture question, "how do we make sense of the world around us?" guides my interests in philosophical and scientific studies of the mind, epistemology, and the philosophy of science. Recently I've been thinking about reasoning processes in the context of particular mental illnesses. I'm currently working at the intersection of epistemology and the philosophy of psychiatry to understand the capacities we use to recognize that we aren't reasoning well.

I received my undergraduate degrees in philosophy and cognitive science from UC Santa Cruz.
