I work mainly on issues in the philosophy of mind and the cognitive sciences. My main project is on computational explanation, addressing questions about its methodology, assumptions, and general framework. I also have interests in mental representation, the emergence of normativity in thought and language, psychologism and perspectivism in metaphysics and science, and the philosophy of humor.
