I work mainly in topics in ethics, social and political philosophy, and philosophy of law, but I also have interests in social epistemology, the later Wittgenstein, pragmatism and the history of early modern philosophy. Currently I'm thinking about trust, distrust and political institutions, particularly as it affects differently racialized groups, virtue ethics and non-ideal theory, and politics and habituation.

In various past lives I've been a musician, journalist, lawyer (of sorts), and martial arts instructor.
