2nd Year Graduate Student | Ph.D. program in Philosophy

My main interest is philosophy of language, with a particular focus on formal semantics and the interface between semantics and pragmatics. Thus, my biggest project so far investigated the question when utterances of subjunctive conditionals express antecedent falsity and when, on the other hand, such an inference is not available. I have many other interests in theoretical philosophy, however, mostly in logic and epistemology. Moreover, I have been part of a research team in papyrology. Before coming to Columbia, I received my B.A. and M.A. from University of Salzburg.
