1st Year Graduate Student | M.A. program in Philosophical Foundations of Physics

My primary interest lies in the field of philosophy of physics, with a specific focus on evaluating various interpretations of quantum mechanics.  I am particularly interested in the study of the ontology problem, the underlying mechanisms, and the empirical aspects of measurement setups and processes related to the pilot-wave theory and the many-worlds interpretation.

Besides the philosophy of physics, I am also intrigued by the core aspects of Chinese philosophy, including the concept of ‘the Way’ (Tao) and the principle of ’Wu Wei' in Taoism, as well as the proposed foundations for societal harmony in Confucianism.

Before Columbia, I earned B.A.s in Physics and Philosophy from Smith College and worked for MIT Math department for one year. Apart from academic pursuits, I coach Krav Maga and play rugby.
