1st Year Graduate Student | M.A. program in Philosophy

My interests are primarily at the intersection of phenomenology, the philosophy of perception, and ontology. I am interested in both phenomenological and action-based approaches to the study of perception and what such approaches can reveal about being, focusing on the role of the body in perception and relationships between consciousness, the self, the body, others, and the world. I am also drawn to philosophy of mind and aesthetics, particularly the experience of the sublime.

Prior to pursuing a Master of Arts in Philosophy at Columbia University, I received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy at the University of California, Berkeley.
