M.A. program in Philosophy
My main areas of interest are political philosophy, legal philosophy, and metaphysics, with a further focus on 19th-century European philosophy and the emergence of early existentialism out of post-Kantian idealism. I also study ethics and questions of fate, contingency, and self-affirmation.
Before attending Columbia, I received a B.A. with highest honors in Philosophy from Vanderbilt University.
