Jack Romp

1st Year Graduate Student | Ph.D. program in Philosophy

My primary research interests are in ancient philosophy. I’m especially interested in questions at the intersection of ancient epistemology and ethics, particularly concerning the value of knowledge for living well. I also have interests in late modern European philosophy (especially Nietzsche) and moral psychology. Before starting at Columbia, I received an MA in Philosophy from Georgia State University and a BA in Philosophy and Computer Science from Georgetown University.
