M.A. program in Philosophy
My current academic interests are in the history and philosophy of science, with particular focus on the interconnections between knowledge, power, and values. I aim to evaluate the conditions that have led to our present ways of thinking about nature, society, and ourselves as a means of questioning their necessity. In doing so, I hope to provide openings for ways in which we can think, and thus act, differently.
I received my BA in Philosophy from Durham University with First Class Honours. My undergraduate dissertation used Wittgenstein's On Certainty as a tool in analyzing the introduction of probabilistic knowledge in Seventeenth-Century British natural philosophy.
