1st Year Graduate Student | Ph.D. program in Philosophy
My primary research interests focus on post-Kantian German idealism (esp. Hegel) and social and political philosophy. Specifically, I am interested in the normative grounds of social order, the normative and epistemic basis of social critique, and the unjust- or wrong-making features of certain existing norms and practices. I also have additional interests in early modern philosophy, moral philosophy, and the philosophy of action.
Before joining Columbia, I received my M.A. in Philosophy (2024) and B.A. in Philosophy and Sociology (2020) from Seoul National University.
