M.A. program in Philosophy
My primary interests lie in political philosophy and aesthetics. During my undergraduate years, I focused on theories of justice and moral responsibility, culminating in an honors thesis comparing utilitarianism and John Rawls’s Theory of Justice. I am now increasingly interested in aesthetic theory. Having played music for most of my life and released music independently, I am especially interested in the study of art through the medium of music.
Before attending Columbia, I received a B.A. in Philosophy from the Barret Honors College at Arizona State University, where I was inducted into Phi Berta Kappa.
