3rd Year Graduate Student | M.A. program in Philosophical Foundations of Physics
I specialize in the philosophical foundations of physics. My current areas of interest include the role quantum mechanical spontaneous collapse theories can play in simplifying our understanding of the direction of time, the meaning of probability in the Everettian interpretation of quantum mechanics, and the potential usefulness of statistical mechanical concepts in explaining complex emergent phenomena.
Many years prior to beginning my degree at Columbia I received a B.A. with Highest Honors from Princeton University and an MBA with High Distinction from Harvard Business School. In the intervening decades I have been pursuing a career in venture capital and private equity. I am currently a Managing Director at Insight Partners, a leading software investor with over $90 billion in assets under management.
