M.A. program in Philosophy
I am primarily interested in moral philosophy and aesthetics. Influenced by the writings of Simone Weil and Iris Murdoch, I am invested in the topics of moral attention and the recognitive gaze. I am also partial to Hegelian recognition as well as the wider tradition of German Idealism.
Prior to attending Columbia University, I completed my B.A. at Sarah Lawrence College, where I studied philosophy.
