M.A. program in Philosophy
My research lies at the intersection of political philosophy, critical theory, and social ontology. I am particularly interested in the relationship between power, subjectivity and language, as well as how political and aesthetic forms shape the conditions through which individuals become intelligible to themselves and others.
I often draw from literary theory, and am particularly interested in the philosophical foundations of human rights and legal philosophy. My advocacy and nonprofit work seeks to bridge the gap between theory and practice,
I received B.A degrees in English (Creative Writing,) Philosophy, and Human Rights from Barnard College.
